About our facility
Our preschool is located in the residential area of Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco. It is within walking distance to Golden Gate park, two community gardens, a playground and many neighborhood attractions.
Classrooms and play yard
Our preschool is located in a cottage with one multi purpose room, kitchen and bathroom upstairs and two classrooms and a second bathroom downstairs.
The environment is set up so that children have props and costumes to use for play. There are also library, science and an art centers.
The play yard is spacious and has a sandbox, a playhouse, a gardening terrace and we also plan to have a chicken coop.

Educational opportunities

Toys and furniture we use in our classrooms are made of natural materials and are mostly purchased second hand or have been donated to us.
We have installed a rain water collector for our garden. It is a simply but brilliantly designed large container that turns storm water run off into an irrigation system.

Composting is a fun activity to do with the children. Compost produced by our worms is used in our organic garden to help grow fresh vegetables that we later use in our lunches.
